The Matt Haverkamp Foundation was established in November 2005 in remembrance of a beloved son, dear friend, and K9 police officer. The purpose of The Foundation is to continue Matt Haverkamp’s legacy and keep his memory alive by supporting the law enforcement agencies in communities in the greater Cincinnati area. Since The Foundation’s inception, we have been able to purchase 131 K9s with the nearly $1,422,000 that has been spent on them and protective equipment. These great accomplishments have been made possible from the many participants in our two annual fundraising events, our sponsors, and our donors.

TWENTY-FIRST ANNUAL MATT’S 5K PURSUIT

REGISTRATION
• Pre-registration to participate in Matt’s 5K Pursuit as a chip-timed Race Runner or Race Walker is $30 and includes an event shirt.
• Pre-registration to participate in Fun Walk (not chip-timed) or as a Virtual Participant is $27. The Fun Walk includes an event shirt and one can be mailed to Virtual Participants for an additional $8.
• Pre-registration for Kids (10 and under) is $15 and includes an event shirt.

Pre-registration prices are good through March 31, 2026. After that, there will be a late fee of $5 per person.

Register for Matt’s 5K Pursuit as well as become an event sponsor, mile marker sponsor, and/or make a personal donation online by visiting our RunSignUp page or downloading the Matt’s 5K Pursuit form and mailing it in along with your payment.

We accept payments by cash, check, and credit card. Payments made by credit card will incur a processing fee.
